Figure 62. WTC5. Note that this image is rotated 90° from the two images in Figure 59 above. |
Figure 62 shows the roof of building 5, with considerable aluminum and some steel "wheat chex" on the left (south) and top (west). What could cause these holes? Building 5 is not adjacent to a Twin Tower in the proximity that buildings 4 and 6 are and hence 5 is least likely to suffer less damage from disintegration of a Twin Tower than buildings 4 and 6 (discussed below in Figure 75). Can you find the fuselage piece in Figure 62? If not, you're not alone. Figure 62 shows a close up of building 5's roof between the two raised roof sections where this oft-cited photo shows a fuselage piece that apparently revealed itself among the aluminum cladding debris a few days later after the dust had settled.
Figure 9 WTC5, the postal building, and the two buildings immediately north the postal building, with dust and a few pieces of aluminum cladding on the roofs north of the postal building, if you look very carefully. According to the government account, engine parts and landing gear from Flight 175 flew overhead and suddenly dropped into a steep canyon, the street farthest to the right. Further, the parts were "discovered" under scaffolding with no big gouges in the street. |
